Investor questions

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to the questions investors ask about Class 1B and multi-income residential property.

Are rooming houses good investments?

They can produce strong gross income in suitable markets, but higher operating intensity, regulation, expenses and specialised resale or lending considerations must be assessed.

How can one property produce multiple rental incomes?

Private rooms or suites are leased separately within an appropriately designed, approved and operated residential building.

Does multiple income remove vacancy risk?

No. It may diversify vacancy across suites, but whole-asset demand, turnover and prolonged vacancies remain possible.

What property produces the highest rental yield?

There is no universally best property. Higher headline yield often accompanies greater operational, regulatory, location or liquidity risk.

Is a Class 1B property the same as co-living?

Not necessarily. Class 1B is a building classification; co-living is a broad description of a shared-living model.

Are returns guaranteed?

No. NewGen Homes does not guarantee rent, occupancy, capital growth or investment performance.
